Transylvania Henderson Reentry Connection, or THReCon, is an organized coalition of government and private agencies, businesses, individuals, non-profit, and community/faith-based organizations. Its purpose is to provide comprehensive case management and integrate a variety of recovery services for individuals who are justice-involved. By focusing on effective reentry strategies, THReCon aims to reduce recidivism and victimization through the collaborative efforts of the Reentry Council.
We develop a comprehensive case management plan of services for individuals at any stage of their justice involvement. We identify needs and provide access to a responsive service network, working to fill in gaps in care for their recovery. We advocate for those who are justice involved and conduct reentry education and outreach for the community, employers, and providers. Additionally, we recommend policy changes to the State Reentry Council to enhance support systems.
We recognize the barriers and emotional distress related to reentry after incarceration. As providers, we've encountered the challenges and red tape often presented when attempting to connect individuals with justice involvement to essential services, including effective case management. With our lived experience, we understand these struggles; we've fought through it, and now we're here to support your recovery. As a whole, we see you, we care, and we believe that people reentering society should be met with love, compassion, and someone willing to help navigate the obstacles through initiatives like the Reentry Council and programs offered by Threcon, ensuring a successful and fulfilling future.
We are in the early stages of development for our Case Management initiative and are still searching for a space to call our own that will support our Recovery and Reentry efforts. In the meantime, please shoot us an email. We would love to hear from you and discuss how the Reentry Council and Threcon can collaborate with you!
